These Terms and Conditions govern the use of Cabby Pass, a digital wallet service provided by Cabby Technology Ethiopia ("Cabby," "we," "our," or "us"). By creating a Cabby Pass account, depositing funds, or using Cabby Pass, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

1. About Cabby Pass

Cabby Pass is a prepaid digital wallet that allows users to deposit funds into their Cabby Pass account and use those funds to pay for transportation services offered through the Cabby platform.

Cabby Pass may be used for:

  • Cabby Reserve services
  • Cabby Share services
  • Cabby Private services
  • Cabby Minibus services
  • Future transportation services offered by Cabby

Cabby Pass provides a convenient, secure, and cashless method of payment for transportation services.

2. Cabby Pass Wallet

Cabby Pass is a prepaid wallet and not a bank account.

Funds deposited into Cabby Pass remain available for future transportation services until used or refunded according to these Terms.

Cabby Pass balances may be viewed through the Cabby mobile application, website, or other approved platforms.

3. Account Registration

To use Cabby Pass, users must:

  • Create a Cabby account.
  • Provide accurate personal information.
  • Maintain an active mobile phone number.
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

Cabby reserves the right to verify user identity when necessary.

4. Depositing Funds

Users may add funds to their Cabby Pass wallet using approved payment methods, including:

  • Telebirr
  • Bank transfer
  • Debit card
  • Credit card
  • Other payment methods approved by Cabby

Deposits will be credited to the user's Cabby Pass wallet after successful payment confirmation.

Cabby may establish minimum and maximum deposit limits.

5. Use of Cabby Pass Funds

Funds in the Cabby Pass wallet may only be used for transportation and transportation-related services offered by Cabby.

Users may use their Cabby Pass balance to:

  • Reserve transportation services
  • Pay for completed rides
  • Purchase transportation subscriptions
  • Pay for recurring commuter services
  • Pay for future Cabby services

Cabby Pass funds may not be transferred to other users unless specifically authorized by Cabby.

6. Refund Policy

Unused Cabby Pass balances may be refunded upon request.

Users may request a refund through:

  • The Cabby mobile application
  • The Cabby website
  • Cabby customer service

Approved refunds will be processed within 7 to 10 business days.

Refunds will generally be returned to the original payment source whenever possible.

Cabby may require identity verification before processing a refund request.

7. Discounts and Promotions

Cabby may offer discounts, promotions, loyalty rewards, referral bonuses, or other incentives to Cabby Pass users.

Promotional credits:

  • Have no cash value.
  • May expire.
  • May be revoked if obtained fraudulently.

Cabby reserves the right to modify or discontinue promotions at any time.

8. No Interest

Cabby Pass balances do not earn interest or investment returns.

Cabby Pass is intended solely for purchasing transportation services through the Cabby platform.

9. Account Security

Users are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials.
  • Protecting their passwords and PINs.
  • Reporting unauthorized access immediately.

Cabby is not responsible for losses caused by the user's failure to protect account credentials.

10. Fraud and Misuse

Cabby may suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts involved in:

  • Fraudulent activity
  • Money laundering
  • Unauthorized transactions
  • Abuse of promotions
  • Violations of these Terms and Conditions

Cabby may freeze wallet balances while investigating suspected violations.

11. Transaction History

Users may review their transaction history through the Cabby application or website.

Transaction records may include:

  • Deposits
  • Ride payments
  • Refunds
  • Bonuses
  • Promotional credits
  • Adjustments

12. Limitation of Liability

Cabby shall not be liable for:

  • Service interruptions beyond its control
  • Delays caused by telecommunications providers
  • Banking delays
  • Force majeure events
  • User errors or unauthorized account access

13. Modification of Terms

Cabby reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time.

Updated Terms will be posted on the Cabby website and mobile application. Continued use of Cabby Pass after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia.
